After LDOC lockdown, UNC is reviewing safety procedures (The Daily Tar Heel) — A time-sensitive report for UNC’s award-winning student newspaper after a campus-wide public safety scare.

Students close down fees commission hearing (GroundUp News) — One of my most exciting reporting assignments during my study abroad semester in Cape Town, South Africa. The first story of a months-long eruption of national protests over the rising cost of higher education.

Multilinguish: Language Anxiety (Babbel) — A podcast episode I scripted, hosted, and produced for Babbel’s Multilinguish series, featuring personal narratives about the challenges and triumphs of learning a new language.

Suspect in custody after campus explosion (Carolina Connection) — A breaking radio news story scripted, recorded, and produced by me for UNC’s student produced radio news broadcast, aired on WUNC.

Un Día En Español 1: Surfing In Puerto Escondido (Babbel) — The first episode of season two of Babbel’s Spanish learning podcast Un día en español, for which I served as post-production and distribution project manager.

Parades, Promises, and Protests: Episode 1 — A personal narrative podcast project I created and hosted that reflects on the post-apartheid sociopolitical landscape of modern South Africa.
